When planning and developing the projects, we consider a range of issues. These include the economical issues such as
land use, renewable energy sources penetration level, environmental aspects, solar panels, wind turbines, wind speed,
fuel cells, planning polices, interest rate and purchasing and selling energy price. Thus, we will consider technical,
economical and environmental features in the planning.
How it Works:
The RSGC gathers a group of experts to ensure an optimal planning and design for the electrical smart grid. According to
the planning years, single-stage or multi-stage planning pattern are developed and tested in the simulations.
Planning phases
•Determining land for wind, solar, energy storage, fuel cell, micro turbine, connection to the main transmission system.
•Investigating potential relationships with local land owners for access and resource measurement
•Determining single-stage or multi-stage planning pattern
•Project planning, including optimal sizing and locating of resources in the land according to the environmental,
economical and social concerns
•Simulation in the computer environment for checking the power quality, reliability and operation issues
Smart Grid
Smart Grid is the gateway to relibale and
efficient electric grids which supports the
developement of the smart generation,
smart metering and smart control. To this
end, the bidirectional communication
between the utility and customers based
on digital technology helps the smart grid
idea. Smart grid consists of controls,
computers, automation, metering and new
equipment to facilitate the accurate and
responsive reaction of the network in both
normal and emergency situations.
