Smart Grid
The modeling, planning and operation of smart electric grids with high efficiency are parts of our
capabilities in RSGC. We aim to design and operate the electric grid as cost effectively as possible using the
high opportunities which are provided by the new technologies.
Renewable Energy Sources
The global renewable energy projects include the modeling and operation of different types such as wind
turbine, solar panels, tidal power and biomass energy. We are responsible for assessing the land use
requirements as well as the infrastructure needs in the research project. We also understand how
renewable energy sources must be compatible with the main grid in both urban and rural areas.
Measurement Services
RSGC provides accurate and high technological measurement devices to allow the experts for receiving
secure, high-quality project and environmental data by installing data-loggers and deploying remote sensing
devices.

Smart Grid
Smart Grid is the gateway to relibale and
efficient electric grids which supports the
developement of the smart generation,
smart metering and smart control. To this
end, the bidirectional communication
between the utility and customers based
on digital technology helps the smart grid
idea. Smart grid consists of controls,
computers, automation, metering and new
equipment to facilitate the accurate and
responsive reaction of the network in both
normal and emergency situations.
